Jane received a grant for a security deposit. She was at her wits end and had lost all hope of being able to survive on her own after a divorce followed by ejection from a relative’s basement space. She said she would have been psychiatrically hospitalized from the stress of the situation if she hadn’t received the assistance from NVMHF.
